2009 Prostar ISX CM871 HELP! TRUCK IS FREAKING OUT!

    2009 Prostar ISX CM871

    Below is the list of all dash lights currently on as well as all SPN codes and their corresponding FMI codes. These are all body controller fault codes. These codes appeared one at a time over the last few weeks, not all at once. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Triangle is on, no engine icon

    Trac Cntrl icon on

    ABS Module message in the window, ABS icon is not on

    Enab Off Road rocker switch flashing green

    1059 axle load sensor, Data erratic intermittent or incorrect

    569 Differential lock state Rear axle one current below normal or open circuit

    687 disengage differential lock request rear axle one data erratic intermittent or incorrect rationality

    69 two speed axle switch Data erratic intermittent or incorrect rationality

    2000 source address zero, abnormal update rate

    2023 source address 23 voltage below normal or shorted to high source

    3987 Compression Brake Enable Switch Indicator Lamp 5 Compression Brake Indicator output is Under Current Or Open Circuit Current below normal or open circuit

    3984 Cab HVAC Recirculation Door Control Actuator - Data erratic, intermittent or
    incorrect

    Pull the battery cable, let set for 15 minutes and reconnect. It could be as simple as the computer got bad data and is having fits because of it. Basically you are rebooting the ECM.

    Stack some of that Wile. E. Coyote Dynamite under there and detonate.

    Frankly any time a truck complains of problems with interlock or lockers etc back there it's too much.

    @Heavyd is the resident expert with this stuff.


    Having very little experience with these trucks I'd say based on the faults either the body controller has gone screwy, you've got a power/ground issue on the body controller, or there is an issue with the datalink wiring.

    If you are in areas that they use that mag chloride deicer for the roads it seeps into connections and makes them bad.

    The first 4 are showing a problem with the ABS, need to get that scanned.
    Axle load sensor is for your LCD display for axle weight, bad sensor or wiring problem.
    569, diff lock solenoid or circuit problem
    687, the actual diff lock rocker switch has a problem such as the micro switch or circuit board underneath it.
    69, your truck won't have a two speed switch, ignore this.
    2000, ECM datalink failure.
    2023, Cluster/body controller datalink failure.
    3987 happens when the indicator light for the engine brake is burnt out in the cluster.
    3984 is usually a jammed or broken recir actuator.
