Air bags will not fill with air. When the switch is flipped up it just blinks.

    Wroooooonnnngggggg..

The blicking is a fault detected by the body controller. Could be a stuck solenoid valve but most likely a broken or shorted wire. Activate the fault readout function of the dash display and there should be a code showing.

Will do in the morning. Guy came to our shop for wheel seal leak and we noticed his air bags were down. We flipped the switch back and forth and it did nothing so we waited for him to return and asked him about it. He said the light had been blinking like that for a month or so. !!!???!!!

Anyway it was closing time so I told him I would check in it out tomorrow.

I noticed his lights (marker) and dash lights were going in and out as well. He may have bigger issues as well.

Ok traced my air lines back first. One supply 3/8" and one control 1/4". Attached is a picture of the valve that the control runs to. I simply unplugged the control orange 1/4" hose from that and it allowed a little air out. (Be careful fragile) and then it went back to working. Odd but it is working. Thanks

The body controler on these trucks can be a bish, International ziptied the wires to tight at the connection for it, it can actually depin the body controller and start having random and odd things happen as the connection jiggles. Might want to check it I just had mine replaced because of it. They say its a common issue with the 2009 to 2012 the fix is unZiptie it before it breaks or when ot does replace the B/C.

They use a goofy two solenoid set up for suspension dump, so it can be tricky to troubleshot. Basically one solenoid blocks system air, and the other sends signal to the valve to actually dump it, or something like that. Any time a switch blinks rapidly, there is fault. The body controller sends out 12 volts for each individual air solenoid on the solenoid pack. It will fault the circuit when it detects too much, or not enough electrical current is being used by the circuit, indicating either an open or short. The solenoid pack uses the same ground for all solenoids. In this pack should also be the air solenoid for the air horn and PDL. If the air horn works/PDL works then you know at least the ground is ok for the pack. Since there are some other issues too you may have a problem with a main firewall connector, or a main connector at the body controller itself. First quick thing to do is simply disconnect battery power for 5 mins and allow the body controller to cold boot. Sometimes they get locked up.
