I got a 2012 T700 with a Paccar MX 13, running cold all the time needing to Change the thermostat/s but I have looked everywhere and can not find any info for disassembly of the housing and everything involved in replacing. I was and still am mechanic but all I've ever dealt with is Cummins, cat, detroit, any info would help. Thank you

Let me look for this up for you real quick. I have Paccar access.

Basically it's pretty simple. Drain the coolant (duh) and take off the thermostat housing just over the coolant filter. Had to look it up because I had a total and complete brain fart with the coolant module.

OK so when you remove the cover behind/above the water filter the thermostat is just inside there? I kinda thought that's all you had to do but I'm just not that sure about this new engine. All I know is dealers want 4 hours labor to do this at 170 an hr, I just can't do that just for thermostat replace. It looks like that cover is held down with about 5 bolts and after that it just lifts off?
jason6541 Thanks this. -
It looks like I need one also.
Thanks -
It sounds like I could do it myself.
