We have a 4900 a battery went bad on, found and changed battery. Now truck is completely dead, chased cables and found there is power going into PNDB but no power out, jumped the incoming wire to outgoing everything lights up. Changed the shutoff switch, didn’t help could PNDB be bad?

Yes. PNDB have been a problem on all Daimler products since introduced. Water intrusion from being mounted under rain drip rail. Suprised it lasted this long (2012)

@Dirtworks85 is there a proper way to test power going into pndb? Can I pull one of plugs and test a certain pin out?

I have same problem with my 2012 4900. Power going to Pndb but none coming out. I put a jumper wire from power coming in to the midi fuse going out. Everything works and I was able to drive truck home. I noticed before this happened my voltage was fluctuating between 13-16volts. Just wondering if that did something to the Pndb. I also saw some other Pndb on eBay that looks exactly the same but has different part number but much cheaper. Anyone try Pndb with different part numbers?

Must use same part#. The usual failure is water intrusion.
