2013 CASCADIA. Extreme front end death wobble

We get that issue when the beads the company uses in the steer tires lump up. Drivers hate the beads but boss believes the shop foreman that they work the best even though they need to pop tire and dry them occasionally mostly spring and early winter.. same speed 40 to 50 max it clears up after.. not sure what you balance with but that’s my first guess on the shake..

 

Balance on the tires . Cascadias shake like crazy if steers are out of balance enough. Is it possible a balance weight fell off

 

I had a similar issue, brand new Kelly steer tires, one was out of round. It would the same as you described, same speed.

 

Jack up one front wheel and place a spray can close to the front of it, like 1/8 of an inch
Spin the wheel and you can see if the tire is out of round.
Do this on the sidewall of the tire also.
Do this on the other side.
If the tires check out after this then do your swap and see.

 

Don't forget wheel bearings do funky things, but more than likely a tire. If you ever hit a curb or big pothole, the belts can break and never get it balanced.

 

What brand of tires were they ? How many miles on them ?
