I think I’ve heard the one box goes out around 500k. About how many miles on the DD15 before a inframe?

    Somewhere around eleventy hundred thousand.

There's no set #, but if you need real #'s somewhere between 1 mile and 2 million miles.

I'm at 550 000 on my 2014 I hardly ever idle and use my Apu . Probably only did one forced regen in 18 months. I have seen dd15 in the 800,000 range and 900,000 range owned by o/o's . The 2014 one box changed for that year , supposedly easier to work on and maintain, more reliable? Idk

if you are not from cali and scr is ###### up in 1-box do not change 1-box. take off the outlet nox sensor and let it sniff clean air.

in some cases that's very bad if you had only one forced regen within 18 months. specially if you had light and medium weight loads and your truck runs northern states. Detroit is now saying that driving regen is not cleaning enough soot. During driving regen temp is around 800f in dpf. They have modified process and as far as I know now during driving regen temp is playing witihin 1000 and 800F. If you will haul only heavy loads you 1-box MAY last longer. 8 year is past since first DEF truck was produced but they are still unable to make 1-box overheat proof.
