2013 Prostar - Radio Turns Itself Off Every Hour

Turn off the sleep timer.

 

If you have the key off and turn on the radio, it will only run for 1 hour. That is built into the radio. The key must be turned to the ignition or accessory position for the radio to stay on. If it is shutting off while the key is on then the radio is loosing ignition power and then the timeout timer starts counting down. This would need to be diagnosed.

 

It might depend on what kinda music you are listening to. If its crappy music then maybe thats all it can take...haha

 

what brand of stereo is it?
In my cascada, with factory stock radio, that comes with Cascadia's you can set a sleep timer, for when it turns off. You can also set an alarm clock on it

 

My 2014 prostar started doing it today. I noticed when I turn it back on there is an icon that blinks on the bottom left of the screen. Can't figure out how to make it stop

 

Which mega gave you a 2014 with (according to your sig) less than a years exp? Just curious.

 

I still can't fin anything on how to fix this. It's really getting annoying though

 

International doesn't really have any good info about the radios. Google your model and make of radio and see if they have a manual you can download for more information.
