so recently got a kw with isx. 460,000 miles. The fan seems to kick on and off at idle just fine. Pulling hills temp climbs to 205-210 before it kicks on. Is this normal.? It will stay at that temp pretty constant until you are out of the throttle then drop back to 185. Oil temps running 225-230 pretty constant. I am a new owner and just trying to get some answers on if there may be an issue. Thanks for any help

Well that’s good to know thank you. Seemed like the oil temp was high too but no buzzers or lights yet lol

Normal.
Oil gets up to like 260, you need to pull off idle it down.
Fan clutch should kick on at 210, back off when it goes down below 210 for coolant temp.shogun Thanks this. -
Thanks sir I appreciate the input. Learn as I go lol

Oil will always run hotter than yourcoolant temp.

Thanks did a trip out west and it seems to be doing well

If you have a manual switch use that before long grades, no worries about temp then.
