2014 volvo 670 I shift trans noise

I would say take it to Volvo. If their is something with the transmission only Volvo can fix them I would think. It not like the older trucks when every truck had Eaton transmission and any shop can fix that. If it's a transmission problem.

 

Might get lucky and it maybe just a u-joint.

 

Just a guess maybe it time for a clutch. I hear they are very pricey. It's not a normal clutch. It's special just like one on Detroit auto shift transmission.

My 2016 has always clunked slowing down just like dropping the range selector into the low side on a manual.

I have the same issue with my transmission 2015 volvo vnl 670 I shift ( 545k ) , when I slow down I hear big clunk sounds , and I have also clunk sounds with upshift first 6 gear , but some times when I change from Ecoroll to Economy only does not do that but most of the time clunk with first 6 gear upshift or downshift , I think I have electronic issue but not sure

Is there any update can help please
