I have a 2015 Cascadia with a dd15 and the 12 speed auto trans, Truck shows a check trans light that used to show up occasionally and wouldn't let the truck start. The light is now stuck and the truck wont start and when it does I cant get it into gear. New CPC tried, New Transmission computer tried and nothing, the only codes it shows is
"Transmission Shift Datalink (LIN) Number 3187 Mode 9"
    and
"Automatic gear selection: Gear shift not plausible number 524286 mode 4"

I've ohmed connectors, checked computers, swapped the gear selector, it was intermittent and now its just stuck. I'd really appreciate some insight or help if anyone has fixed this issue or dealt with it before

Sounds like either split pin bushing issue or shift controller. Maybe never had updated split pin kit installed. Need DDDL to troubleshoot correctly.

I'm using DDDL, it makes me go through checking pins and ohms mainly. Will there be a service record of it being replaced if it was done by freightliner?

It was the CPC4, even the good replacement went bad with similar issues leaving us puzzled. Do not hesitate to ever check the CPC4 even if the replacement unit WAS good. Nicks electronic repair in tucson got mine done in 2 days and shipped back
