2016 international pro star city horn constantly beeping unless brakes are pressed or set

    My city horn beep beep beep beep beep beep beep non stop unless brakes are set or pressed , or until I hit like 70 miles an hour . It drives me insane, how do I turn this off ????

    Unhook then horn.
    Usually a plug on firewall.

    Or pop the cover off steering wheel with screwdriver and check wires.

    Yes, it’s set up in a lot of fleet trucks that the horn honks when the brakes are released and the door is open. Could have a bad door switch. Also can be disabled in DLB.
