About to pull the trigger on a 17 Cascadia with 247,000 miles, 6300 hours, 1417 idle hours according to DDEC report, which I attached. Currently has about a year and a half left on EW3 warranty and 250,000 miles. It is a former fleet truck from heartland. I got a list of warranty work done on it as well.

The last 5 are all from the same oil leak I presume. I know these DD13/15s like to leak oil.
As far as warranty work goes is that good, bad, about average? Anything that you guys think I should walk away from?
On the research I've done with these engines I know the onebox can fail and its $10,000-12,000 to replace, they leak oil, occasionally have some wiring problems, and have injector/cup problems with some miles
Yes, I'm going to be running california, a lot, or I would be getting a nice glider.
I had a 13' KW with a paccar that broke religiously every 4-7 weeks and would be down for 1-3 weeks each break down. I want to *try* to avoid buying another nightmare. I understand that buying a truck is a gamble, and this could be considered "rookie talk" but I'm just looking for some advice here. Truck is going to be converted into a stinger setup to haul triple RVs, want to make sure its going to be a good investment.
