Bought a new Mack anthem. Truck is falling apart after a year. Contacted WARRANTY folks, as one would figure they don't stand behind their new model. Airhorn malfunctioned only used it 3xs. RoadSide had to come cap it off.The back window shade became detached the 2 week after i bought it ( no replacement parts) driver's side front curtain plastic clips broken. Now the passenger side window went down by itself. JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH!!! The warantee on a brand new model should be 2 yrs especially when there are no REPLACEMENT Parts!!!!!

Well those type of problems arent what keeps u off the road. I understand being frustrated with a brand new truck and little things falling apart but those things are very minor... Ur engine and transmission is the most important part of that truck and as long as them is working fine, keep er hammer down ... These new macks are not macks they are volvos with the mack logo, them old macks could be driven thru a tornado, a blizzard, a flood, and a wildfire, all in the same day and still be runnin strong

Seem like it should have better warranty from the factory, more then 1 year.. Volvo has extra warranty you can buy from Volvo. It don't make Mack sounds so good when they can fix the little things.

Well you are correct those are minor problems. Not safety related, or anything that would stop one from making money.
However Imho if one buys a brand new anything , and paying $2000 a month or more. They dont want to broke and shouldn't have to put up with those minor problems.
Other wise they could have bought used AMD saved about $1000 a month.

    Funny thing about modern trucks.

Go look at a 30 year truck parked somewhere and odds are it may be faded paint but everything else is as it was made when new.
