Seems those high dollar cars would be in an enclosed trailer.

That is exactly what I was thinking, not only the price but the customer. I cant believe that Penske put them on a pickup truck with a 5th wheel. I guess that most of been the lowest bid, definitely a enclosed trailer with class 8, at least for this customer. I'm pretty sure that is the talk at Ford as executives first learned of this. Penske, I'm sure has good insurance and will pay for all. This has to be terrible publicity that they don't want. I wonder if they will slow down using pickup trucks?

When I zoom in on the picture taken from in front of the truck showing the top of the silver car and right side of the truck I can clearly see the Penske name on the door of the truck.

This is a major embarrassment to Roger himself. When I worked for Penske 20 years ago, this kind of fly by night subcontracting would not have been allowed to happen. Times have changed.

That’s exactly what happened!! Why risk putting these cars on a POS car trailer like that. They should have been in a enclosed van being pulled by a fookin semi!! Ford is cheap when it comes to freight. Hope they learned their lesson!

You can even see the skid marks on the concrete where the cars dragged. It makes you want to cry almost.

If I was that driver I’d get on the first plane smokin out of Michigan-FAST!!!
    (and don’t look back...)
