2024 Cascadia Heat Concern

Is it just me or does that upper bracket look bent? Not sure heat caused that.

 

Unbolt one bracket and see if it straightens out . A bracket may have gotten bent forcing plastic to bend .. or possibly parked next to a grass burner with a side exit exhaust who happened to do a burn at that time.. I can’t think of anything on your truck that would get that hot on drivers side..

 

Heat deformity usually happens on the passenger side when the DPF filters are not sealed properly. There is no exhaust plumbing on the driver's side so I don't know of anything that would melt the fairing. There are some large and very important plastic air lines on the driver's side. Any of those, get damaged? Anything else underneath the cab get damaged?

I tend to agree with the above comment that it is probably a dent.

 

Pretty much this. There is nothing on the drivers side of most trucks that even gets hot enough to deform plastic. MAYBE if you have stacks and one has a leak. But that would more likely melt near to the exhaust pipe. That looks way more like a dent or MAYBE a grass burner beside him did it. But dent soneplace is the most likely cause.

 

Uhh that's not heat, the looks like something hit it, maybe road debris or when backing..

 

Tire carcus debris if hit could definitely bend the fairing like that.....
