Hello all
My 2026 VNL860 cab shocks are poor quality and have zero dampening left at only 33,000 miles causing the cab suspension to hit the suspension stops very hard on rough roads.
Does anyone know if there are other options available other than OEM shocks for these yet ?

What about warranty? Did you pull a shock off and try to extend and compress with your hands or are you assuming they have no dampening left? Do the cab air bags look fully inflated? There may be a pinched air line or the rod for the valve may need to be adjusted.

I demonstrated that the shocks have no damping by simply bouncing the cab by hand next to my friends new 860 to compare.
My shocks were very obviously lacking any dampening by comparison , basically have zero effect and warranty will not replace them unless they are physically leaking oil externally.
Yes air bags are fully inflated -
I would want to know what the air pressure is at the bags as they also cushion/dampen. Possible that they are inflated but not enough air. Check the cab ride height. Escalate from dealer to regional or corporate and ask what they can do to help you. Is what you are experiencing a common problem? There were some videos on here last week of bad roads. If you are consistently driving on these type of roads then things will wear out faster.
