Or worse do blacktop paving in good weather and then take unemployment over winter because it&#039;s too cold to be doing that material. (I had that job for years) they hated it. It got to where I simply did not spend any more time around them in Maryland than I had to.</p><p><br /></p><p>Most all of my employers did well with me in my time with the exception of three which I told stories several times in past posts. (Usually related to holding a current CDL A or Class A and being deaf etc.) One was a motor coach company owner who she did some real damage that day showing her discrimination. How am I supposed to keep track of 50 souls in a 55K pound bus across several states? Who is she to ask me that stupid question, we are here and talking nicely are we not? Another could not stand the idea that I worked with a trucking company delivering concrete by tanker to them and then applied to work as a CDL A Driver. They tell me I am over qualified while the view from the office window showed 18 low boys with tractors parked in the rain outside. Point point point. They turned beet red, then got angry when I defused that silly little position from them. A arkansas company in the same type of work hired me on the spot without challenge of my medical limitations as long I was able to do the work. Here in the south you get opportunities and a chance when the yankees up north will not. That is one big reason I enjoyed my time here.</p><p><br /></p><p>You are 21. You are supposed to have a handful of employers by the time you hit 22. You will settle down soon enough and put in several years with one employer. That will look good on you. But you have to stick to it. The good with the bad.</p><p><br /></p><p>You will be fine. You will be working until at least 62 lord willing, don&#039;t stress too much about having too many jobs or worry about gaps. Just tell them what you did in between work. For example I stopped working in 2005-2006 to be a caregiver to a spouse fighting cancer. I did some work as a crew boss once a month or so. Just a little something now and then. However to a employer today, it will be that and also being a medical patient more than anything with a team of doctors doing surgeries and what not trying to fix what can be fixed.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you don&#039;t find any work somewhere here. Go somewhere else there and there will be work you like. It might have to cross a whole country of the USA to find it. But it is good to do it.</p><p><br /></p><p>Good luck to you.
