Hello I need help! First time I started a conversation hope I did it right. I have a 97 peterbilt with a 6ts cat. Cranks but won't fire no smoke out the stacks. I've replaced cam sensor, fuel check valve, fuel transfer pump and swapped the ecm. I have power on pin 4 and switch power on pin 6. Ground on pin 5. When cranking fuel pressure gauge in the truck will slowly rise to 70 psi. Truck will run on starting fluid then die. Had a mechanic hook a computer to it and he couldn't find any codes other than a coolant sensor.

My best guess since the pump and check valves and such have been apart is that you have a bad air lock in the head, big air bubble. If it is in time, getting fuel and air it should run. If the tach is working the injector drivers should be working in the ECM as well.

Thanks for the info I cracked the fuel line on the back of the head I has a steady stream of fuel. But I'll look into it having an a pocket. I think I'll replace all the fuel lines maybe sucking air or collapsed line. Lol I've been going crazy and throwing money on it left and right. I think I'll work on it next weekend it's just my project for now.
