50,000 dollar bonus for doing your job without screwing up real bad. What's your average Joe paycheck job give you for 35 years of work, a fake gold watch and the boot?

 

Thats is quite an accomplishment. I have about 3 million I thought that was good, But I did start driving till I was 34, in 1989. So good job to the driver for making that many miles. I got my license back in like '79 in my Dads Truck, but did start driving a big truck till 89.

 

If he averaged 30 CPM pay he also made $1.5 million in pay.

 

11500 miles a month every month 36 years straight and many miles at 55 mph back in the day.. guy must’ve been on the road a lot . Good accomplishment

 

I give the guy credit for sticking to it and not job hopping all over. Sometimes staying in one place is the best option.

 

99% of drivers will never see 5 million miles. Ive got a little over 2 million myself give or take with the occasional car and stuff thrown into the wrecks.

They made way more than .30 off him. Truck produces what it produces. FFE spent 85000 on us for fuel as a team in 2001, they also spent 67000 (Less than half or more potential) on us as payroll and earned about half a million dollars give or take 150K based on 2.60 a mile.) Truck repairs not enough to matter, maybe 5000 total including one set of tires. They also made lease payments on tractor. That's relatively small when you consider the revenue potential you can run per year with one. Much less 1200 other trucks.
