5700XE Bunk heater core removal

I'm thinking about putting a lifepo battery where the heater core is currently, putting one there and two more in the side box to power a mini split. Does a 17 5700XE have an easy way to remove/bypass the bunk heater? Like a shutoff valve or can I loop the hoses?
