    Only part number I can come across is 4P9121 is there an updated part number? Need to replace crank on my 3406e, any specific crank better than another? Whats average price for a good crank?

    First of all. What happened to your crank? Or you just wanting to play it safe. Any crank from 5ek to to a 6nz will work might have to swap the front gear drive. If its straight cut or helicut gear.

    Crank is pitted near #1 engine had lots of water when opened. i think the shop that had my engine left it out in the rain before i picked it up.

    Cat parts website says 0R3973 was replaced by 0R3260 listed price is 3451.95 $

    finally going to return to this project. havnt bought the crank yet, but I have a SDP for parts, would it be a good idea to pull the 15.2 acert crank and pair it with this 5EK? I already have a gold cat kit for my 5EK. is it too late to do this swap?
