Unfortunately, most of them try to change their new locale to be like the California they left.

Seems they didnt go very far..... They ended up about the range their electric vehicles could handle...... Oh boy californians in texas.... I get enough anxiety to back off the accelorator when i see both those license plates side by side on the interstate, i would not want to be in a state filled with those contrasting personalities.... That may be more dangerous than an atomic bomb

If you took a poll I'll bet a lot of those refugees from California moved to California from another state. They're not going to be happy anywhere.
We live up in the northwest corner of the state and people moving here from someplace else, lasting a couple of years, and then moving out, is an ongoing theme.
Texas and all you other guys, don't worry. The refugees will stay just long enough to make themselves very unpopular and then they'll move on.

Born and raised in California, might move out and go to either Arizona or Nevada.

Primm, Nevada (Zip Code 89019) on I-15 is a good location. Right on the California line. Can walk a few feet to buy California lottery tickets (Lotto Store Road) & close to Las Vegas.
Good route north and south on Interstate 11 also.

i recall many years ago, someone not necessarily took a poll, but did some sort of canvasing and found that yes, a high percentage of those in CA were not born there.

might be a good idea to not be so close to the CA border, just so that when the "big one" hits, it doesn't take away the bordering state(s) as well.....

i'd not be thinking the cut line would be perfect.

    rachi Thanks this.
