A little background: Been outta trucking over a dozen years and left due to a very serious family illness. I'm a 72 veteran in good health, passed my DOT physical after reactivating my CDL with all endorsements plus TWIC. Never had a DUI,never been arrested and have a clean MVR and DAC.
Here's where the insight and advice comes in: After reading at many Forums and many many posts with all the somewhat drastic changes in trucking since i've driven OTR, i'm not at all sure which company to go with; i'm uncertain and unsure about which direction to head in.
I only intend to drive at most a year or two. I'm retired and doing well enough that i don't "have to drive" but would like to within the time frame i've outlined just for the extra cash in order to do some home improvements and that's about it folks.
Hope i didn't bore anyone and all responses appreciated. Thanks!
72 coming back. I'd like some insight and perhaps some advice.

Hey,thanks so much for your help and reply. I've only spoken to a few, including Schneider, which i'm still undecided about and some want only team drivers though i only want solo. Any thoughts on Schneider? Thanks again sir.
