Amazon is making significant moves in Central Florida, with multiple large-scale projects underway or in the pipeline that could reshape the region’s logistics landscape.

1. Brevard County Satellite & Warehouse Project
Amazon is building a 112,000-square-foot warehouse in Titusville, Brevard County, on 45 acres along Horizon Drive, bordering the Indian River Connect CRE. The site is linked to Amazon Leo, the company’s low Earth orbit satellite network, which the FCC has authorized to launch 3,236 satellites. The facility will support satellite operations and is part of Amazon’s broader $400+ million investment in Brevard County, which also includes a 1.2 million-square-foot West Melbourne warehouse expected to create over 1,000 jobs The Rookie Wire. Amazon already operates fulfillment centers in Melbourne and Cocoa, and Florida hosts six other major Amazon facilities.

2. Deltona Distribution Center Expansion
In Deltona, Amazon recently opened a 1 million-square-foot first-of-its-kind distribution center to stock the top 50,000 best-selling items for Central Florida, including essentials like toilet paper and detergent ClickOrlando. This “fulfillment center for fulfillment centers” is designed to replenish nearby sites and will employ about 500 people. A second Deltona facility is already in place, and a third, 1.5 million-square-foot hub is planned for fall 2027, expected to add roughly 1,500 jobs Hoodline. These projects are part of Amazon’s push to strengthen its I‑4 corridor logistics network.

3. Economic and Infrastructure Impact
