Right now there's a hole in the overhead console where the radio is supposed to be. It looks like there is a track on the roof to support the radio but I'm assuming I'll need some sort of bracket to bolt to the radio.
Does anyone have a source for the bracket or know what hardware I'll need to install an aftermarket radio?

At this point, grab some aluminum at the local hardware store and make it.

If you buy a DIN style radio it will come with the bracket.
I used this site for my '89 Kenworth. They have adapter harnesses so it's plug-n-play.

I took another look at it today. I think the metal piece on the top is just to put pressure on the radio so it doesn't bounce around. My F150 has something similar but there's a plastic bracket that bolts to the back of the radio and slides onto the track.
The radio came with a sleeve that it slides into, I'll try using that. The plastic around the hole is pretty chewed up so might have to get creative.
