    Steer - 15,600
    Drive - 69,000
    Trailer - 69,500
    Booster - 14,500

    Total - 168,600lbs

I’m legal for total weight but obviously over on my drives and trailer.

When I put my weight on the booster it puts more weight on the drive tires.

Without using my jeep, how the heck can I get this #### thing weighted out right…. I added a shim to the trailer but still learning this whole thing!!!

Use your flip neck. Flipping that neck over is the same as moving the machine backwards 1/2 the length of the flipneck on the trailer. This will also let you slide your fifthwheel up to get more weigh on the steers.

You can also try loading the forklift the other direction. Really depends on what the weigh balance front to back on the actual machine is though.

Plus you'll get more weight on the steers.

Here's an example. Loaded this and found out I was way over after going to a scale. I was still a bit heavy on the trailer but I was able to get permits for it. I think I got it at little better anyways with some more shims on the booster but just never reweighed it.

If I flip the neck I can’t unload the machine - definitely thought of that.

The hydraulic neck lift would just push down behind the truck.

Some days I’ll move 3 of these a day so time is money out here!

There's no other machines where you are loading and unloading that can help you flip the neck back up?

Load the forklift facing the other way. Then use your tractor to flip the neck down before hooking back up to the truck. When you get to your delivery use the forklift and some chains hooked to the lift frame to pull the neck back over then hook back up to unload.

There's no magical way to move the weight back without either moving the forklift or moving your kingpin further forward.

Then you need some more 5th wheel slide.

That neck is built for a jeep, right? I wonder if you are moving three of these a day if you should invest in a shorter flip neck extension..........or just use the jeep and load it further forward a bit.

I'd be interested to see how you managed to tie the front of that lift down too?

ETA I zoomed in and can sort of see a chain attached to the front bolster.

    Those are some good chains!
