96 FLD120 AC issues

How big is your condenser, and where did you block it off? 36 oz is likely at least a pound too little. Do you have gauges? If so, what are your gauges showing the pressure is?

Well I only need 3 cans In this one to work total. 36oz. I had to close off the sleeper AC lines of the truck because it has a hole in it and cant pull it off to repair it.

Its grounded through the clutch chassis now instead if a wire

Condenser is oem still.
When I looked it up this truck needs like 4lb 5oz but without sleeper it said 2lb 5oz I think. Yeah im using gauges. Low side shows about 60 I think and high side 100 so far.

I blocked it off at the firewall where the AC lines split off to the sleeper

Well, double check the gauges. Both should be the same without the A/C clutch turning. If your low side pressure is actually 60, it has enough PSI to close the switch.

I still think you'll be low at 36 oz.

Ya im not gona say 36 is 100% correct, its just what I could find online for like a daycab fld120

I’m talking about the Truck harness pigtail. 2 wires right? They plugged into the 2 wires on old compressor?
