    Always remember to check a broker's credit rating before hauling for them.......By spending less than 3 minutes on a broker's rating can possibly save you BIG $$$ if you decide to do business with them. Flying by the seat-of-your-pants....might just cost you those pants, maybe more?

    Good advice. It only took me one time to get burned and now I ALWAYS check! I use the factoring company credit department, ITS credit check and the FMCSA website. If anything looks questionable, or they are historically late in paying their invoices, I don't use them.
