Western Express is a bunch of lying cheating good for nothing back-stabbing, yellow-bellied, sumbiches!!! They sent me home this past monday, because this so-called "doctor" they hired told them he could tell by my eyes that I have type 2 diabetes, and sleep apnea, which I can assure you all, I DO NOT have either of the forementioned comditions, and they sent 4 other drivers home for grinding gears on their road tests!! And the trucks Western Express owns, run like to old farts trying to get their groove on! I am SERIOUS!! They do not give a crap about drivers, D.O.T. or the public!! ALL but about 6 trucks were in the shop at the Nashville, Tn terminal, transmissions out, clutches out, brake problems, some the brakes would not even come on when you hit the brake pedal, one guy was there, he rolled a BRAND SPANKIN NEW rig, and Western Express DOES NOT send the guy for a drug test of ANY kind, sends him out IN A BRAND NEW truck, he plows into the back end of a subaru, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL, and Western Express told him he still has a job!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DRIVE FOR WESTERN EXPRESS!! DO NOT EVEN CALL THEM!! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THINKING OF CALLING THEM!! IF you do, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE SORRY!!![]()
A bunch of LOOSERS!

I have worked for Western Flatbed div. for 3 months now. The only thing I can really say bad about them is the pay but with the per diem I have some pretty good checks. If you work and show them what you are about they will do you right. I get good miles and get home when I ask. Some times it's Saturday but I have got home on Thursday. I'm always loaded so I got to leave out Sunday or early Monday. I get around 2500 miles a weeks but have got up to 3700. Not bad being on elogs. Western is a 2nd chance company. And they will hire anybody. So when you got alot of LOSERS that don't give s*** you going to have a bad rep.. Its all about what you make it out to be.

I'm driving for western express, great company. mechanics pretrip your truck with you when you come into the yard, preventative maintenance every 20,000 miles, 2500 average mileage bonus, 95% on time delivery bonus, fuel bonus at 6.5mpg for new trucks. This guy got sent home by a doctor and im 99.99999% sure this rolling a new truck and backing into a car story is bs. Companys oldest trucks are 2007, this guys post is so useless its grounds for locking thread and deleting it.
My home terminal is Fontana California, great staff their. and yes the pay is not the best in the industry, when you take into account this hasn't been the best freight year and the company is in the process of replacing the fleet with 2010+ trucks and upgrading to e-logs, and the significant battery problems they've had with the new internationals and freigtliners, this company has had its fair share of investments. im not picky in pay because im here to get my experience and depending on how the raises go, i see myself stickin around for a while.Last edited: Oct 26, 2011

Let me get this straight. Thet sent 4 guys home for grinding gears, but kept a guy who demolished a brand new rig and then followed that up by ### ending a car with the next brand new truck? Hmmmmmmmm.......
keepitsimple Thanks this.
