Hello, experienced drivers. I am a Canada trucker. This mishap happened on me while I was driving in Canada. I was crossing the intersection on green light as normal, one car broke the red light, hit my right side trailer wheels.
Nobody got hurt. One of my tires damaged and the car's front license plate came off, strachs on its front bumper. Insurance company and plice officer came and the officer told me that I had no fault, no issue about the accident and give me a incident number. I didn't get ticket and accident report.
The driver of the car said he couldn't stop because the road was too slippery. He didn't get ticket too.
My questions are Will it influence my career in the future? Will it be recorded in my record?

Nope. Had 3 cars run into me the past 40 years, most recent 2 years ago. No issue

Only inspections effect your carrier. And you didn't get inspected.

Remember that jbhunt kid ( I think it was ) who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Some bridge was under construction. And happened to crumble on him just as he was approaching.
Wonder what he's doing these days.Dave_in_AZ and chrisX Thank this.
