Doctor shopping is, at best, frowned on, but it's done every day.
Get another physical somewhere and find a new job afterwards.
Why did you not pass the physical?

You did not state the reason for the denial. Usually a medical condition or some other problem related to it.

Remember you can swear to a Tier two to hold on to your CDL and continue to do work without a DOT card in very narrow sections of the industry.

    BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this.

I’m no expert, just going to state what I have observed.

Had a friend of mine that went to IHOP for a big pancake breakfast right before he went in for a physical. They almost rushed him to ER. He’s diabetic. For his troubles, he was given a 30 day card. From my understanding, if you had a medical card (he had been getting the 1 yr cards), and you fail, they give you a 30 day. You got 30 days to pass. If you fail after 30 days, they stick a fork in you.

OP didn’t say whether or not the card with the clerical error was 2yr, 1yr or a 30 day. So, that leaves lots of room for speculation. Why didn’t they give OP a 30 day card?

Either the last card was 30 day OR whatever caused the fail can’t be fixed in 30 days. Just speculating.

I didnt know the company sends the physical to the state... I thought the ME or yourself gives it to the state.
Either the ME turns it in to the state OR you take it yourself to the DMV. I've never heard of the company sending it in. Thant dont make sense to me.
