Just wondering what others experiences have been getting hired as a P&D Driver with Pyle? How many weeks should it take to get an interview or whatever? For an open job. Got confirmation email but that's it so far. Thanks!

You might want to call and get a hold of the manager if you are really interested.

Yes, of course, I have followed up. I have had it take a week to get in a truck before, and I have had it take nearly a month. I was just trying to get a feeling for their sense of urgency. But I guess it just depends.

I was sent to CDL school from the dock, so didn't have to deal with their hiring process. I've heard it's arduous though, and it seems like they like to keep a big pool. Applied to work the dock in '09, got a call six months later and declined. Applied again to work the dock the beginning of '12 when changing full time jobs and got the call ten minutes later.

Hi PFGiardino, I know this thread is very old, but I was wondering if you still work at A Duie Pyle? How was your process of going from dock worker until you got to do their CDL school?
