Not really heart warming but getting rate .
Pulled into the overflow lot at little America tonight and the lot is full so I had to get creative not blocking anybody and done .
Along comes another guy and he's screwed ....UNLESS ...we communicate!
I got his attention and told him I'm in no hurry so just back up against me and were good ...good will .
    Pass it on !

I've done something like that before. I saw someone parked all stupid blocking in other trucks and I went and told him I was about to pull out if he wanted my spot. If they see me get out, put the 4 ways on, start doing my pre trip I've had people come and ask me if I'm about to leave. I tell them get their trailer pointed at my nose I'll be gone in X minutes.

Always seems to garner a smile and a kind word or two.

I still do it - let others know on the CB if I’m leaving a spot if it’s busy, or I’ll ask - or approach in person.

We gotta start getting along a little better.

Marble bathrooms and one of the nicest driver lounges I have seen...except for the Marker 219 at Twin Arrows. I have been to Little America 18 times in three weeks on a dedicated Target account in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho during my mentorship run.

That's a good story too. I had a driver ask me if I wanted his spot last week. I was only there for a restroom/coffee stop...but the gesture was still appreciated.

And YES, I turn off my lights when I pull in and am facing the trucks that are parked for the night so I am not shining them into their cabs.

    Sarcastic comment aborted.

    Conversation in the past.
Me: Hi, how are you? Are you doing OK?

Driver: I'm fine, why wouldn't I be OK? What are you saying? Are you trying to start something?

Me: What part of New York are you from?

    Driver: I'm from NJ.

I thought this was going to have something to do with a female driver and a cat woman outfit.

Just sayin...but a lot of the female drivers I have seen looked a lot more like raggedy old mountain lions than Cat Woman. I am 6'4" and 240...and most of them were a foot shorter and a hundred pounds heavier.
