So the main concern I have about getting hazmat endorsement is getting my finger prints permanently embed into the government system. Well, to be blunt, when I was a young 10 year old lad, my friends and I did a lot of bad things around the neighborhood. Nothing serious, mostly breaking things and such that neighbors called cops to investigate. Now, if I get my hazmat and get my fingers printed, can't the government track it all the way back to when i did all those bad things and make charges against me?

Juvenile records are usually sealed. Who would give a rat's ### what you did at 10?

Not sure why people are not taking this serious. My friend got arrested because he broke into a house and they found his finger print inside .I did some pretty dumb things when I was young, but let's say the government have unidentify finger prints from a vandalized property in their system. Now, if I register for my hazmat and my prints match those from that specific scene, can't I get in trouble for that?

The way it was explained to me is that your fingerprints go to the FBI, but they are only kept temporarily, then discarded. So when you go to renew, you will have to give fingerprints again.
