I have been with Swift close to 6 years Aug 10 2004 is my hire date. Ill Show you the miles that I get and wait times on load and other stuff about the load. So people
on this forum interested and thinking about going here, can take a peek and see what loads a Swifty gets.

I was off for 4 days march 15th to 18th Ill start the 19th when I half way rolled out :)

I received my pre-plan on the 18. It was to pick up the 19th and delivery 22nd pick up in Wiggins, MS to Neenah, WI loaded miles 1016 actual miles 1056 Empty was 36 actual was 30 from my house. P/U time was 1100 got there at 1030 in dock at 1035 and loaded in 55 min. 16 rolls of big paper 44,567 was weight scaled fine had 3/4 tank of gas. looked up on my laptop that I could leave early Saturday and be in Neenah, WI on Sunday with no problem. So I went back home and left out at 0300 Saturday. Arrived at the terminal in Menasha, WI Sunday at 1530. Plus to that it was only 5 miles to delivery from terminal. At 1722 received pre-plan pick up in Menasha, WI deliver to Laredo, TX 1491 loaded 3 miles empty. P/U 22nd deliver 25th

Today 22nd
I delivered the Wiggins to Neenah today delivery time 0800 arrived 0715. Then played ping pong. I was told that I was to deliver to 294 lake street the mill. But when I got there they said I needed to deliver to warehouse across street. No biggie went there checked in and they said you need to go to mill. Sigh OK went back to mill across street. then the clerk said why you back over here? I responded they sent me back here. Then she says go back over there I said " No more ping pong call some one that knows whats gong on" I was getting a little miffed. She did and I was to deliver there at mill got in dock 0845 unload at 0945 ...... Recap paid loaded miles 1016 paid empty miles 36 at .40 = $420.80

Load I am on now is from Menasha, WI to Laredo,TX Loaded miles 1491 Actual 1513

terminal is off exit 13 in Laredo, TX its about 1 1/2 miles from pilot

Well I made it to Laredo today. Got here at 1345 We have to bring all loads to terminal to get the trailer inspected. Because 99.99% of loads that go to Mexico are taken in the trailer they are loaded in. They had to replace 2 tiers and i was good to go to broker got in the inspection line at 1345 left to broker at 1450. arrived at broker at 1510. Would have been there sooner only 4 miles from terminal, but I had to hit ever freaking light red. Drop trailer and then bobtail back to terminal. recap paid loaded miles 1491 paid empty miles 3 .38=567.72<------- now you are probably wondering what the hell I got paid .40 the other load. Any time your pick up or delivery is west of Mississippi river you lose .2 cents. I know it sucks but it is what it is.

Recap for pay week 18th to 24th total paid loaded miles 2,507 total paid empty miles 39........ 1016/36 payed at .40 1491/3 payed at .38 = 988.52

I start a new pay week tomorrow. I am also waiting for a pre-plan most likely a pick up from terminal ill update 25th.

Make sure you get lots of extra brake line donuts before going to Laredo. Every empty I see has them stolen. At least the ones outside of the Swift yard. The trailers in the yard usually have them. They steal them and sell them South of the border.

Do you have a hard time getting a load out of the Lancaster terminal?

"Do you have a hard time getting a load out of the Lancaster terminal?" It's hit or miss never have to wait more then 24 hours 90% of time.

I received a pre-plan at 0245 was from are yard Laredo, TX to Florence, KY delivers the 29th. But I am T-calling it in Memphis terminal, Ill be there the 26. Paid loaded miles 861 Actual miles 877 Empty miles 0. The fun part about Laredo terminal is the missing Glad hand seals, and playing lets find your trailer game. Laredo is one of the bigger terminals, they have about 9 rows to try to hunt for the trailer. But the plus was that the game ended with the trailer having glad hand seals :) Scaled out at terminal got weight ticket all was fine trailer was 45,300.

will update on 26th

I T-called the load at Memphis, TN got here at 1130 dropped my trailer. Then I went to the shop My AC went tits up in Laredo but, I will not let my truck get fixed there unless I have no choice. Had stuff stolen out of my truck when it was in that shop last time I was there . Memphis said They should have it fixed by this evening key word "should". Honestly it does not matter I only have 3 hours to drive on my 70 Saturday might take a 34hr reset not sure. Recap Paid loaded miles 861 empty paid miles 0 at .38 = 327.18

will update 27th
