I am looking into replacing the damper on my Cat C13 and adding a balancer. I've only found balancers through Pittsburg Power, and have been stumped on the damper.
I found two different dampers, both by Vibratech, but don't know the difference in performance between the two. Links below:

Both say these are for the C13, but are described differently. Anyone have any ideas into this?
Next, I heard that Pittsburg Power's dampers are Vibratech units. True? If so, which one?
Any other insight would be welcome. Thanks!

Your best bet is to call Vibratech and speak to Tech Support. I also heard the Pittsburgh Power are made by Vibratech, they just paint them yellow.

Part number is the same on both 1341604. Looks like they listed it twice. If it were me I would order the cheaper of the two.
-
they are the same so get the one with the better price

I got a Vibratech for my 3406E, called Vibratech and they told me to just call PP. They are the manufacturer and distributors but the PP and others are the retail outlets.
-
Interesting, I hadn't noted the part numbers were the same. The listing's description seemed to be for two different types.
Sho-Tyme, how did it work out for you? Any noticable difference? -
-
It might be that one is a performance dampner and one is a stock unit.

Paul, I was kinda hoping he'd appear here. I tried PMing him, but can't yet due to a low post count. I've only been here for just a bit.

Then again, I could just run up the post count...
