Grew up with nothing but a window fan so I was kinda use to it. Little rough these days though I’m not as young anymore. Thing about a Cabover is remembering where you set out on the road, set between the lines you’ll be running the rumble strip….

 

HA! More than once I'd see a trailer pulled by a cabover with the right wheels on the shoulder,,,before "rumble strips". Putting your arse in the left tire track seemed to work the best. I hated every cabover I ever drove. May as well have blinders on for the right side. The best, as if, was a IH Transtar 4070B,,,the worst? That's easy, a FL setback axle. K100s were okay, we called them "long nose cabovers", We never had A/C either, we were just happy with power steering and tubeless tires, something drivers today give little thought to.
