WarHippy,
How do/did you guys manage eating while out on the road. Since you don't have an inverter that will power a microwave and can only use a 12V DC cooler for storage?
Thanks,
J.T.

Great post. Thanks for the information. I am deciding between May or Schneider to start out with since I just got my CDL. I know Schneider is great at getting you home. Not sure about May Trucking though.

J.T- We use an Iceless cooler for food. You can have an inverter but you are limited on the size. I'm not sure the level. We have a small inverter for Computers, Cell phones and the such. We use truck stop microwaves.
Lightwside- What area of the country are you? The May drivers I have talked with are not getting enough miles. -

I can see how that can that a toll on the body and mind. I like my 300-500 miles days. 10-12 hours rest. Time to take walks and get good rest.
Wish you the best. We will stay in touch.taugust Thanks this. -

Thanks for this thread, it's very informative.
I remember reading some your posts when you first started out as your service caught my eye...as I'm also retiring from the USMC in 6 months as a Combat Engineer. -
