Vic works the ever-loving crap outta my TWIC whenever he can. There's one guard at the Port of Jacksonville who knows me on sight now. :D

Going to try and reschedule me in tonight. Ill take the hit for this one since I should have called instead of using the qualcomm to communicate. No drivers in the area to swap last night or nobody wanted to since super bowl was on. Soccer is my sport so could care less about super bowl, lol!

Curious... can one use their TWIC Card as “driver identification” at regular shippers instead of their personal Drivers License?

Again I get a TO that is late before I even read the darn thing... 90 minutes to drive 180 miles... so of course now, instead of driving, I’m sitting here waiting and hoping they can and will work me in.

can we get detention pay after 2 hours due to poor planning resulting in excessive down time... I’m already an hour into it and other trucks are parked here ahead of me.

Sometimes I wonder about the planners here. Got me worked in at walmart here in pottsville and told me to show up 1700. After 1800 and still not touched me yet and I got 48 pallets stacked to the roof to the back that have to be broken down to 100 pallets according to the manager here. Planners sent me a load and text saying Im a work in at the shipper in newark tonight and gotta be in Suffolk 10 am tomorrow. My 14 will be up at 4am. DM even emailed them saying this isn't going to work. Thankfully DM has driven 13 years and knows Walmart will take hours to unload and stack, especially when it is a work in. Planner thinks Walmart will be quick.....I think planners really need years of driving experience to qualify for that position so they know what goes on out here. Why couldn't they give the load to any of the other drivers up here, DM even looked them up. Im not refusing the load. It just is not going to work out.....

I often wonder why they do that instead of stacking a driver so they aren't wasting time on the clock. They really oughta be looking ahead as far as loads go.
