    I hate when office ppl start freaking out thinking Im going to be late blowing up my qualcomm then call me when Im sleeping when I gotta get up at 2245 to start rolling and ask me what time Im going to be at my first stop in Daphne…..I timed it to be an hour and a half early being it has been pouring rain recently to be safe. They really gotta stop treating everyone like we all need our hand held when some of us don’t…..

    It’ll never happen. If you realize just how many screw ups they have on a daily basis, then dealing with office folks that use the name “operations” it’s a no brainer that the rest of us are treated the same way. remember, this is a starter company, we’re all the same.

    Put your phone on Do Not Disturb, Focus, or whatever your phone calls it (you can set it to still receive calls from certain people) and turn the volume down on your Qualcomm when you start your 10 hour break. After one too many calls from night time dispatch, I started doing that.

    You can also do what I did and let whoever is in charge of operations today know that with your 100% on time delivery record, no accidents or tickets. 100% DOT inspection record, 10+ years working at Abilene, been in the business 42 years, that you know how to trip plan to deliver coolers. I did it about 3 years ago, got me absolutely nothing. Still treated like a recent truck driving school graduate that use to breed salamanders in my last career.

    I hate Tyson…..been up since 2245 last night and can’t leave or get paperwork until temp gets to -10……got sent to Tyson in Camilla, Ga to reload going to Ohio.

    Sitting at the West Memphis yard getting a tractor clearance light replaced and my wiper motor replaced. Ever notice how wipers quit working when you need them. Thankfully I was only 15 miles from the yard. Headed to Sacramento California in the morning.
