When you think of the grand total amount of trailers and loads Knight has to oversee now, I'm surprised they know who even works there anymore...

I love playing scam the scammer, they get so angry when the tables are turned on them and they can’t get what they want, lol! After getting unloaded tomorrow got me bouncing to New Castle BH for a Jacksonville for Sunday. Assuming I get unloaded in a timely manner in spite of being a day late of course.

Not sure what madness is taking place here, but I just drove into Suffolk, VA via I-64 during rush hour and did not encounter anything even remotely resembling rush-hour traffic.

Two days of layover here at the yard. Last delivery ended 13:40 Friday. Nothing at all yesterday. Phone call today letting me know that they got nothing leaving today and the soonest they can put something on me is tomorrow morning.

In the midst of my reset here at the Flying J in Lodi California, 41 miles south of my drop in Sacramento. So from leaving the house after almost 2 weeks off, I will have 3570 miles in for the week when I get empty tomorrow. No paycheck this past Friday, but that’s ok, the time off far outweighs the missing paycheck. Because I missed a pay period, which happens about 4 times a year, I have to make up my benefits deduction. It’s rather comical when I call into HR and tell Charlotte to take it all out on my next paycheck. She always makes sure if that’s what I want to do. Apparently there’s some drivers that have it spread out over 4 weeks. My brain can’t process the nickel and dime deduction.

Summer is winding down, when my wife and I return from Greece and Italy, it will be the end of September. I figure all the solo west coast freight will show up shortly after just as the snow starts to fly. One saving grace, this will be my last winter playing in the snow.

Started the week slow, but ended on a higher note, delivered my Walmart,ky load Thursday, and was deadheaded up to New Castle, for a del to Ocala for Sun morning, but the guys took it a day early.Than abilene deadheaded me up to Ridgeville,to grab a Mt Crawford,I'll drop in morning.
To close to the yard,so ill assume it will be something short, hometime set for Saturday, and in 2 weeks,im taking one of my weeks of vacation,I need some peace lol.jarhead0311, dwells40 and JohnBoy Thank this. -
Delivered my Jacksonville Sun. then started a 34 at the Pilot across the state line which ended this morning then took off 0300 to Ridgeville for a Mt. Crawford Ill drop tomorrow morning. Chains gotta start being carried soon so I figure there be some west coast stuff opening up soon. Usually when I get offered more westerly loads which my opinion is if somebody isn’t willing to run out there in the winter then they don’t need to be allowed out there in summer neither.
