If nothing has changed. You should be in the Barn one day witch I believe is Sunday test out and be on your way. This is after the week of orientation.

I'm an experienced driver that's been running local for a couple of years, and has been laid off, and looking to drive for Maverick. Just wondering about current mileage averages and home time. Any useful tips about the company are appreciated also. :biggrin_25519:

Maverick is a good choice for OTR. SM is correct on the miles and hometime. Good equipment ,good management but you will have to work for your money.

Right now you need 6 months OTR, no recent graduates. At least that's what they told me a month or 2 ago.

sewerman has it rite with the average miles. Looking for 6mos OTR experience. clean dac. Advise: Even if you've been driving a truck for 20 years, if they tell you to do things the Maverick way, then that is the way they want it done.

    animal2781 and sewerman Thank this.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I do have over 2 years OTR also. I can understand them wanting things done their way. No problems with that. I appriciate it!!

You are in a good area for them. They load in Jackson a lot, so you could get loaded friday and be home. It will vary. I have came in on a thursday before and del monday and Have came in on friday or saturday morning sometimes it will just vary. Not sure on the current miles with them. They are a good co tho.
