Try the practice tests on this site. They're pretty good. I had to renew my hazmat, so I took the practice test several times went in to the BMV last Thursday and passed the test.
firemedic2816 and Duurtipoker Thank this. -
Decide where you are taking the test. Study the manual from THAT state. There are differences. I hit high 90's when I did my CLP in Maryland. Went to Iowa and got 70's on the practice tests. Those slight differences can really affect your scores.
Then, as homeskillet said, run the practice tests over and over and over til you can recite the questions and answers blindfolded.

All great answers. Where are you going to school (state) and is it the same state you live in?

Google : Free CDL Practice Tests (your state name)
Memorize exactly the wording of each question and answer.
YouTube has videos of pre-trip inspections; watch them over and over.
Put your location on your profile; city/state.Duurtipoker Thanks this.
