I have a 2002 9200i with a bad ABS modulator on a steer axle. The part number is 472 195 057 0. I've been told that part has been superseded by 472 195 067 0 and have one on order from the dealer (it should have been a few days ago). I started looking around for another source and have been looking at pictures of the new model. The plugs are different. What are my options? Should they behave the same if I splice in a new plug? if so and if I need to go that route, should I splice close to the modulator or would DOT prefer I rewire all the way up to the ABS dash connector? In the picture, my original is on the left. The one on the right seems to be pretty common and available. ABS mod.gif

You would be good just to splice in a new connector and terminals at the valve.
