Can’t seem to figure out why the ac leaks in a couple spots on this international 8100. Think I got the drain in the firewall cleaned out but it leaks where the pan housing dips down for the coolant lines and where the spout goes into the firewall. Is there a gasket I’m missing that goes on the lip of the pan housing that slides out or a gasket where the spout goes into the firewall?

I would imagine it's still your drain. Take a light piece of wire put a hook in the end of it, put it up the drain hose spinning it round and round as you go and see what it catches and pull it back out if that don't work, take an air hose and blow in it If it keeps leaking, I would imagine you have a cracked pan

The AC blows cold as it should? Consistently? Like, you know the evaporator isn’t freezing over at all?

Could be both. On my 379 - the evaporator lines were frozen, leading to destruction and replacement. When we pulled it out it was clogged with a quarter inch of dog hair and filth.

    We also sealed the case.

Now I change cabinets filters quarterly with replaceable charcoal foam filters in a plastic cage.

If it's draining out the drain, but still leaking in the floor, yes, seal those edges.

I don't remember the actual name, but we always called it dum dum tape (I don't know why, it's what all the old guys called it).

It was a 2 sided, very thick, moldable tape to seal up those areas, and where lines go into the cab or bunk.

Still have some dum dum tape from my dad.
He got it from when he worked the assembly line at American Motors.
    #### is still pliable. Lol

I double checked the drain is clear all the way out and still leaks in same spots. I do have some tape that might work.

    Deere hunter Thanks this.

Since we’re all here, does anyone know the charge capacity for the ac system? Everything I found says 3.0 to 3.5 pounds. Seems a little high?

no that sounds about right with no sleeper if you're just running a cab truck.
