Hey guys curious if anyone has any info on Active USA. I have an interview with them on Thursday and was trying to get a drivers side. I know that they are Teamsters and deliver (and un-deck) piggyback trucks. I'm hoping someone may have some info on both the Springfield, OH (Navistar/International) terminal and the Chilicothe, OH (Kenworth) terminal. I'm open to both, but I'm more wanting to see the difference such as sometime, pay, and general operation. About all I know is pretty much all of the loads out of Springfield, OH go into Canada. Any info, opinions or advice would be great.

I am also looking for information about Active Transport. But I have to wait until about March 2015 to apply, so any information about them would be helpful. Especially annual salary.

I work for them what do you want to know? There is plenty of money to be made the benefits are awesome.

I was curious about the annual salary and the benefits. Also about the traveling, airports, rental cars etc.. Also, do you travel with tool box and tools? I filled out and online application for the Chillicothe OH location and was contacted almost the next day by Robin out of Springfield. I talked to her for a few minutes, said she would send me more information, but never received anything. I was also wondering about hiring out of one terminal then transferring to another terminal later on. Also, how are they to work for? I really appreciate the information. Thank You

Salary they will force you to make 50 K a year just depends on your work ethic. Benefits cost you nothing other than monthly Union dues about 50.00 a month. Airports you will spend some time in them they purchase your tickets and not many direct flights. If you do a short haul like say 250 miles you can fly or rent a car. Like I work in Denton Tx I took a run to Oklahoma City 170 miles. My wife drove up and picked me up it paid me 150.00. If they rent you a car they will pay you 0.30 a mile to drive home. I have been here since June 2014 and I have made almost 45 K.

I forgot about the tools . Yes you will carry a tool bag and you have to buy your own tools. The Impact Wrench will be the most expense. I paid 500.00 bucks for mine. The company will pay for tool bag and personal bag fees on the plane. Depending on where you go they will pay for a third bag in extreme cold conditions with approval

So do they pay you per mile or per delivery? What is home time like? I saw one post on Craigslist but it didn't have much info.
