Adding fuel filter back

    2008 14L with a capped fuel filter. The truck only has the davco. I’m being told that’s fine but I’m on my second set of injectors and my question is can I take the cap off and add the filter back I’m hoping that would help out. My buddy has the same engine and his isn’t capped?

    Guessing S60 Detroit.

    Find out the original micron rating of the engine side fuel filter. Change the Davco filter to a replacement element with that micron rating. Problem solved.
