    Hello everyone,

It’s pretty much after today’s events a given my current employer will not be my employer for any longer than I need.

I’ve been told by a lot of people, and some companies I’ve called that flatbed is a great thing to get into, I like that it’ll keep me active and fit even though I’m curious why everyone runs away from the physical demands after the previous jobs I’ve had.

I am trying to do this properly and hit the ground with the best start possible and my current employer may have realized today that they may need to rework their training.

Any recommendations for places that will train flatbed, TMC was top of my list but they won’t move app forward until I get my sleep study done, bmi is at the threshold for the dot physical to require it.

    Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You want a company that hires new grads and can take the girlfriend and cat.

As a rookie -- you really can't go wrong with Maverick:

    Maverick -

TMC is really a better choice for military vets.

I’ve given up that idea for now, I’m just focusing on this point actually learning how to do this properly.

I am sure after I was asked some questions today that there is going to be some serious scrutiny into how people are being trained.

I’ve left so many voicemails for Maverick and short apps at this point I’m starting to have Déjà vu, I’ll try again.

    Don't feel bad about Maverick.

I think they have really slowed down hiring; I don't see driver ads from them much...of late.

The following are 2 great fleets...that somehow stay off the world's main radar, for the most part; both hire & train new CDL holders...& BOTH also do flatbed:

    1) Transland -- look for info on their "platinum trainee" pgm:

    Careers — TransLand

    2) Nussbaum -- hires students just out of CDL school:

    Drivers | Nussbaum Transportation

Submit completed applications -- THEN call them a few days later....

Give some details on that. I'm not sure what you mean.
