From all the info on these boards my answer would be JCT, but times are tough now are you prepared to live in the truck ?

I drive for Maverick now and flatbed is not the way to stay. At least a reefer will carry food and everyone will buy food.

How do the places get the cans to put the soup or food in?

I`d wait a few months if I was already working. If not,Good Luck and let us know how it works out.
I don`t know anything about those companies firsthand so I can`t help but I would be very interested in knowing how it works out for you.

Notraps you know that there are only so many cans to be made and with the auto industry like it is Maverick's freight and all other flat beds are slow. I retired from the military with 20yrs of service so I receive a check each month, and that is the only reason why I am doing this now.

Flats are not the only ones that are slow. Yes, flats slow down in this time frame, but I have pulled vans as well as tankers. My point is there is still a market for flats. There is a lot of competions for vans as well. Everyone is feeling this. It is just not the flats. The economy has the whole industry in shambles.
