are you getting a solenoid chatter when you push the start button or however you send a blast of current to the solenoid?

If Not (If its completely quiet) Your going to have to check your cables and wire to your solenoid (Which is like a 10-12 gauge wire) that's usually red or yellow.- Make sure all of your connections are TIGHT and same with your batteries- Tight and no corrosion.

Perhaps a bad starter? Was it a reman or new? What kind of truck, model year? Does the clutch need to be depressed to engage ignition? Could be that switch has failed too. Check the battery connections? Check for lose cable or wire in battery box or at starter itself? Check the grounds? Not only the connection, but condition of the cable itself? Could be any of those. Maybe you did not have a bad starter to begin with but something else? Maybe a bad fuse or relay even...

Because TA use reman parts. Two years ago they ny truck was under warranty and ta put reman starter. After a month it failed. Then I went to dealer and bought NEW not a reman. I think it was about $100 more than reman. Since then no problem.
